Hello, lovelies welcome back to another blog post.
Some girls might have an obsession with clothes, shoes, or bags. Whiles others might have an obsession with accessories. Don’t get me wrong, I love them all but I’ve noticed that I seem to have quite a large collection of shades. This made me conclude that I might have a problem hence my obsession with sunglasses.
In case you were wondering, I have counted them. I own 22 pairs of sunglasses and counting. Which I don’t think is too bad. Plus, I barely wear them.
Moving on, I tend to shop for sunglasses around springtime, regardless of the many pairs I already own. It turns out, I am not picky and don’t have a set preference when it comes to shapes or sizes. As long as it looks good on me, I’m buying. Further, I usually pick up my shades at different online, vintage, and even thrift shops. But, I think I have officially found the plug. Accordingly, this blog post is inspired by a new, up and coming, Montreal-based accessories brand, Maison Mélux.

Maison Mélux is a Montreal-based brand that currently offers vintage and trendy accessories for any outfit you can imagine. Their goal is to provide the best online shopping experience by offering a variety of trendy yet fashionable and affordable accessories for women. This brand embodies class, confidence, and a hint of bougie.
They launched on June 21st, 2020, and have already sold out. But not to worry, they will be restocking on July 12th, 2020. You will have the chance to grab some of their amazing pieces.
Support Black Businesses
With the current climate, I feel it is important to mention that this is a black-owned business. This is not to say that is the sole reason you should be supporting this brand. As you can see, their products are dope, and they speak for themselves.
However, I need to highlight the advantages of supporting a black-owned business. It promotes diversity in the marketplace. It strengthens the local economy and it allows for productivity and supports the community. In my opinion, the most important part of it all is representation.
We need to be represented in every industry and on a broad scale. In this case, the fashion industry. As much as we want other communities to represent us, we need to take it into our own hands and make it happen. I believe with our support, @MaisonMelux can make a great impact.
