2021 Earring Trends To Check Out

Earrings have always been such a huge trend and are a great accessory to any look and/or outfit. Although there are no recordings of their actual origins, they are said to have been around for centuries, all the while simultaneously increasing and decreasing in size and relevance. Above all, they have proven to stand the test of time.

Historically, earrings have repeatedly been such an important ornament for men and women in many tribal cultures. It was also an indication of one’s social status and/or tribal identity.

Today’s earring styles are inspired by those same ancient tribal cultures. Their functionalities vary from style to being used as a social, political, or religious statement.

Looking back, I was never a huge fan of large earrings. Strange, I know. I always preferred small stone studs because I didn’t like the way larger earrings looked on me. In turn, I never appreciated the way they changed and enhanced my look. But things have changed; I’ve now grown to admire how quickly a pair of earrings can make your whole look, outfit, and make-up come together. They just have a way of making a statement by giving off an air of maturity, poise, and sophistication.

All in all, shown are 3 of my current favorite earrings that will make you stand out. These current trends are full of bold colors, various shapes, and sizes. You will also notice a lot of vintage inspirations within these new fads, from tassels to classic hoops and geometric pieces.
